![]() ![]() While humans haven't returned to the moon, NASA wants to change that with its Artemis mission that aims to return humans to the moon in 2025. The moon has fascinated humans across the globe for decades, and more so since Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin became the first men to touch down on the lunar surface as part of the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. It is the first and currently the only operational lunar rover on the dark side. It was launched in December 2018 and landed on the moon's far side as planned in January 2019. The Yutu 2 is part of the China National Space Administration's (CNSA) Chang'e 4 mission to the moon. Last month, the Chinese space agency's Yutu 2 lunar rover spotted a 'mystery house' on the far side of the moon.
